Symbio hybrids were good. I thought they were a bit harsh on the upper end with my Zeus. I was happier with the Final Es until I began using the Sednas.

Good review. I was sad to see that with the source pair up, the Cayin N6ii / E02 was the only Dap that had some hissing. Was this hissing very noticeable and did it only occur between tracks? I guess I’m trying to gauge whether pairing the Odin with the N6ii / E02 is a deal breaker or not.

this is why customs are the truth; i never found a single tip that i was truly happy with for listening over ~90 minutes.

I hated fooling with tips, so went the custom route, except my Tia Trio.

Completely agree, once you go custom, you can go back. Perfect fit every time and don't have to fiddle with them. I have a pair of CA Solaris, love the sound, but it seems like I'm constantly re-adjusting. My custom Empire Ears are awesome, fit and sound great. I have Bravados and Phantoms and I really hope the Odin and Hero comes out in a custom in the future. I'm tempted to get the universal as I know I can always re-sell, and the universal EE IEMs I've tried do fit very well in my ear. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

I must say the Odin looks fabulous, awesome, and so many other great adjectives!

It is audible at lower volume or in quiet passages of the song (like first 30s of Agnes Obel - The Curse) or when idling, but not as bad as Campfire audio with N6ii/E02.
