There will be more interest when more detail like pricing, specs, tube compliments etc comes out.

The plug is nearly impossible to get so it has to be specially made. It's not that expensive but some initial investment is required.

Exactly!
Bring us some more information, and possibly even some pictures (of the final product that is), then we are talking.

what i found annoying in the first place, is about your assumption of me posting those pics because i have affiliation with little dot.

It's happened before on these forums that people from the company in question start posting without mentioning their affiliations, often innocently. Little Dot is pretty established, though, and it's usually new arrivals who do this kind of thing. Still, when in doubt it's always worth asking just to be sure who is speaking. A few hundred more posts, and we'll all know who you are without having to ask.

It's interesting, but it'll be really very interesting if Little Dot can give us a price/performance ratio better than the Stax offerings. I for one might be very interested in, say, an SRM-T1 competitor priced at $500 or so.

well, its past mid year 2009. any idea about what stage this amp is at? i have their mkiii tube amp and i'm extremely satisfied with the price/ performance ratio. since i'm thinking of entering the electrostatic scene, this amp couldn't have arrive at a better time for me
