The only thing I really miss about the DX90 is a parametric EQ. It's the only reason I'm using rockbox on mine. Why is it so hard to implement it, the DX90 is more than capable of doing so.

I would be happy to see where on the album the song i'm listening is. I think it shouldn't be hard to display on the playing screen which is number the song over the the album (eg 1/10 for the first song of a ten song album).
I really miss that :frowning2:

Just got a used DX90 (my second one) and am loving it, especially when I feed my vibration transducer equipped zero-gravity chair as described here:

+1 And I would add an independent volume control for line out (ever 255) and headphone output (variable).

That would be really iritating if the line out was fixed so don't do that, abd at any rate since volume is done digitally in the dac I don't think that would be possible to have individual volumed

Have you changed the awful font or do we have to wait to another lurker mod?

I requested this several times, even in the DX50 thread when it was released.

Hopefully last week it seems iBasso has heard us (thank you Paul). I assume if they decide to include it won't be in next week firmware but I hope in next revisions.

I just bought a DX90 and when paired with the Westone 4 the sound is definitely low-fi... not hifi anymore.

On any gain mode and any EQ or no EQ, the sound coming out of the Westone is tinny, there is no punch in the bass, and all the notes are watered down and smeary.

On the other hand the DX90 sounds awesome with a pair of Onkyo dynamic cans. ALl the notes are distinct, the bass is tight and punchy, and the music is presented in all its glory as it should be.

I checked the Westone 4 on an Android player with PowerAmp and they sound great as usual. I have only burned in the DX 90 for a few hours but this should not be an issue at all since the cans sound so good right?

I also found that the L/R balance setting on the DX90 does not totally turn off one channel over the other but just shifts the centre slightly left or right. Is that normal?

I use the double flange tips with the Westone 4. Any suggestion would be much appreciated. Maybe time to try new tips?

The DX90 needs much more time.
