Anyone had this 32bit bug? The original is 24bit 96khz to my best knowledge..

24 bit ALAC files are listed as 32 bits. 24 bit FLAC is listed as 24 bit. Guess that bug was carried over from the DX50 :)

  I got mine today

**twitches** FIX YOUR TAGS, SON!

Has it already been decided which wall charger is the best/most compatible to use for the DX90?  I'm not a fan of usb charging.

Any charger will do. Mine's running on the 2A Asus charger that came with one of my Nexus 7's. And has currently been playing non-stop for 52 hours, sadly I've only been listening to it for about an our of that. Stupid holidays with stupid family...

Same size and capacity.

I get 5-6 hours with a 2300mah Mugen battery and have ordered the Anker 4400mah

I dont think the 4400 will fit unless ibasso makes a new battery case

Like with the DX50, you just skip the back plate and use the silicone cover to hold the battery in place

Anyone experience problems with the DX90 playing 24/192 files?

I got mine a few days ago and this is my first ever hi res player. My normal set up has been the iPod Classic/CLAS/amp triple stack. Normally after I download from HDTracks I would copy/convert the files to 24/48 for iTunes and also keep the original files in a separate folder for USB DAC play back. Anyway I loaded the high res files into the DX90 - a mix of 24/192 and 24/96 in FLAC and ALAC. When I play back the 24/192 files from the DX90 I can hear obvious noise like static, little popping sound. And the song itself sound distorted. It took me half a day but I narrowed it down to all 24/192. So I deleted those from the micro SD and uploaded the tracks again after converting them to 24/96 and the problem disappeared. I have no experience with high res players so maybe someone knows why this happened? I got so frustrated I was about to pack it in.

Which card are you using? Do you have the same issues if you're playing from internal memory? Did it happen with FLAC or ALAC?

I am using a 64G Samsung SHXC. When I play the 24/192 tracks from my Mac using any one of my 3 USB DAC's the play back was normal. This is how I enjoy high res before the DX90. It made no difference if it was FLAC or ALAC. The 24/192 files that gave me problems were FLAC and also ALAC I had converted from FLAC.

I should be clear that after isolating the problem I converted all the 24/192 files to 24/96 and everything was fine. The sound is sweet as expected. So I am wondering the player can't handle 24/192? Two of the albums in question were the first two Dire Straits album I got from e-Onkyo and the rest were the Cars first 6 albums from HDTracks. They were all FLAC except for one Dire Straits album which I had to convert it to ALAC because I needed to edit the info into English from Japanese.

Got this mail, they were supposed to ship on Monday..

Hi,

Thank you for your DX90 order.

We are now short of some parts to produce the DX90, therefore, we cannot ship your DX90 order until next Friday.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Sincerely

iBasso Audio

One more week to wait :)

Something else: I read here about people using the intruder or the pb2, would someone "need" and additional amp for one of my headphones in my sig? Need, or would it profit..

Thanks

The only of my phones that really benefits from the balanced output of the SR71-B is the HE-500. Yes balanced is better for all my other phones as well but the difference is so small that for me the advantage og being able to go one box versus two boxes outweighs that small sq increase. I believe that in the future my travel rig will mainly be DX90 with Tsar350.
