I had a folder with .m3u file. I went to playlist, point to that file and click import. A complete scanning began, but I was late for work so I had to stop it. Tonite will try again

Thanks, I will make the test too.

Yes you would have to get a program to correct the delay but it still isn't exact. No update on the dac for mac right now. I am not sure about the future but we will try.

Quote from Ibasso Facebook page. Apparently, it seems that they cannot fix the DX90 problem with the Mac DAC. What a pity! I'll put the DX90s in for sale/trade forum now.

Yes, I have "DX90" in Audio Midi list. 48 kHz/2 channels/32 bit. Set it default.
Checked it on Mac mini 2014 with different songs 16bit/44kHz via VOX. It works, but sound has some clicks every ~2 seconds... Like vinyl:)
And I hear this clicks only during playing song. They are absent in pauses.
Something strange...

MacBook Pro mid 2010 + El Capitan = doesn't work. No any sound, DX90 automatically disconnects on each sound:
1. Connect - Audio-Midi has DX90.
2. Click "Play" - Audio-Midi is without DX90.
3. Wait a sec - Audio-Midi has DX90.

Not sure if anybody else is experiencing this with fw2.4, but my DX90 suddenly goes into default mode - volume 170 and shows last known song - when I changed from a redbook to a Hi-res file and vice versa while the gapless is on. I just noticed this when I use the coax out. Didn't experience this with 2.2/3

We have used the DAC USB driver on two different Mac computers with El Capitan OS and they both work without a problem. Have you done a factory reset? I am not sure what else to advise as we can not reproduce the problem. In Preferences the DX90 shows up and once selected it stays selected and works for the dac on the output from the 2 different Mac computers.

Hi there. Did you try to change the volume? Did the playback continue?

Yes I changed the volume up and down without a problem. We will continue to look into this even though at this end it is working.

I'm also a Mac user and really don't use the DX90 as a DAC but I decided to give it a try, just to see if I experienced any of the reported problems. I have a MacBook Pro running 10.11.2 and Audirvana + Version 2.3.3 as my audio app. I played a whole album using the DX90 as a DAC and I experienced no clicks, pops or any problems when adjusting the DX90's volume control. As suggested by Paul, I always do a reset after every FW update.  Good luck in tracking down the source of your problem.

Thank you for the feedback. I tried a factory reset and I still have the same problem. What is your Mac model? Mine is a 15 inch mid 2014 one.

Did you try to use the Mac volume control? The buttons at the top right of the keyboard.

We have a Macbook Pro mid 2014 with the current OS that we use. I don't remember the other model right now.

MacBook Pro (2012) 8GB of ram, 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 processor but I guess that really shouldn't matter.
