Wow! There’s a DX340 in the Classifieds. I didn’t expect to see one there so soon.

All in all, everything has been running good, hiccups here and there but nothing serious. Curious what the steady draw was the second half of the 24 hours before the steady drop off.
I've been either getting a heavy day or two lighter days off a full 100% charge
Hyped for AMP16
Hope to see it pre if not at CanJam NY

I feel like I am seeing the battery drain decrease slightly after getting a few full charge/drain cycles on the player which is good news. I haven't tried any additional tweaks yet, but will once I get a couple more charge cycles in.
My new Anker Prime battery unit will be here today so will be able to test 12V in which I'm looking forward to.
I've noticed another trivial (but annoying) quirk on my unit. When I turn the screen on, by either double tapping or clicking the wheel, it usually takes 3 swipes before the unit will unlock. I am able to skip tracks via the "now playing" notification on the lock screen, so the touch screen is awake and functioning. But it is pretty consistent that I have to swipe at the lock icon 3 times before I can actually get into the device. Very peculiar. Anyone else noticed that?

Reminder that DX340 uses an OLED screen which could exhibit burn-in on the screen if left powered on indefinitely and the images are still on the screen (even if just in some areas)...you have double tap to wake screen which should be more than enough for control + you can pin an app thus when you double tap it will just display the pinned app instead of the lock screenI don't lock my screen at all more convenient to use I feel.

By the way, does anyone know where I can send my IEM cables in to get the connectors swapped? Or maybe have ConX installed onto my Lavricables Grand IEM cables?
Preferably someone reliable and located in the US?

You will LOVE 12V DC In with power bank, sounds even better on my EcoRiver though. Just plug player in as well and you can run on battery bypass all the time. That is what I will be doing when I get my 2nd power bank Friday. Did not pay for fast shipping as I have a power bank already so no rush. I am not convinced charging works right still. I just re-did my unit yesterday. Takes me 30 to 40 min now so not a big deal. This time I manually erased flash using Partition Manager in QFIL before flashing. Make sure your cable to player has 3.5mm connector, not 5.5 mm.I feel like I am seeing the battery drain decrease slightly after getting a few full charge/drain cycles on the player which is good news. @DAPpower Moon Audio likely can do it and they are in the US
Guys, I use tidal offline libraries a lot. Downloading to sd card (I've tried 3 different ones, one new) takes much longer than downloading to local storage. It's only 10 files per minute, locally it's over 20. My 8 year old lg v20 downloads to the same cards at 20 files per minute. Does anyone have any experience with this?

This is a limitation of the Tidal app I believe and external storage. As I understand it, if we had the ability to mount the SD card as internal storage like some DAPs, like the HiBy R4, then this would actually solve the problem.
I ran into this same problem and downloading slows down significantly the more and more you download, too. It’s frustrating really. So I download as much as I can to the internal storage and then use my SD card after that.

Not super familiar with Tidal app. But DX340 uses UFS for internal storage (successor of eMMC), which is pretty fast (certainly compared to SD cards).Guys, I use tidal offline libraries a lot. So why does an 8 year old LG V20 download to the same SD card at the same speed I get on a DX340 with UFS internal storage? I don't think the problem is with tidal. Not super familiar with Tidal app. But DX340 uses UFS for internal storage (successor of eMMC), which is pretty fast (certainly compared to SD cards).

I can’t explain why a phone works better than a dedicated audio player… It is a problem with Tidal on DAPs. It has happened on all the DAPs I’ve tried, DX340, DX320Max, SP3000T, HiBy r4, HiBy RS8, etc.
When I download on my iPhone or my iPad through the Tidal app, it doesn’t have the same problem and it’s lightning fast. I have no idea why it is the way it is and it’s frustrating…
Yes it's cumbersome (and it's getting hot), but dx320 seemed faster to me.I can’t explain why a phone works better than a dedicated audio player… It is a problem with Tidal on DAPs. It has happened on all the DAPs I’ve tried, DX340, DX320Max, SP3000T, HiBy r4, HiBy RS8, etc.
