Did you install the latest firmware? Does it show show battery charging? Did you try it with the AMP15 card again?
Try letting it charge for 15 min, then holding the power button for 20-30 seconds
Thanks. Latest firmware installed. Does not show charging. Holding the power button also does not work.....

Many Thanks - I tried method 2 and unfortunately it does not work. I guess I need to contact my dealer. DX340 is only 2 months old.
If your 340 refuse to wake up, check out the optimizer thread. But basically, you need to hold down buttons and plugging in usb cables for ot to wake up. There are detailed posts overthere

Try flashing the 340. Other thing you can check is make sure the battery connector has a clip that is screwed in. You will need to remove AMP and back cover to do this. I had someone's 340 that was missing this from the factory this could be your issue. Did you hold the power button for like 30 secs? Easy to fix once you get clip and screw if it is missing. Paul can send you this. DX340 takes same battery has DX320 FYI. The battery is VERY easy to replace. Remove AMP and 2 screws in front of it and 2 back cover torx and slide back cover carefully as WIFI antenna is attached. I can do it in less than 10 mins.

For those having issues with battery life just use DX340 in battery bypass with power bank. Power DAP off and plug into power bank and turn on. Added plus is you can use Super Gain as well. The battery is defective if it looses charge while DAP is powered off for a period of time. That is covered by warranty.

Anyone with USB DAC issues the latest FW I believe solved them. There is a windows driver you need to install. As always I recommend flashing FW and not doing OTA updates.

What do you mean using the 340 with a powerbank ? For the 12v only or both ?

I didn't buy the 340 for use with a powerbank, if I wanted to strip a powerbank to a player I would have bought a powerbank and player for much less

Just talked to Bloom. They will be getting Ibasso shipments in soon at the new import tax rate - 30%. Prices could go up. They have 2 DX340s in stock now and more stock on the way. They will be getting the new DX260MK2 which I will do a guide for eventually.

@shimigg Yes use same power bank for both battery bypass and 12V DC IN. That is what I do. You just need 2 USB C ports. I use 36 watt for battery bypass and 65 watt for 12V DC IN with what I have. Super Gain is so addictive and your internal battery will last forever as all its needed for is booting. I do understand you want better battery life. You should check out Stouthart or my tweaks. I think he has a battery friendly option. I have a battery friendly Magisk module but you have to root. Even if you do not want to root or do Stouthart tweaks you can still disable not needed modules. There is a Qaulcomm bug that has a process for wifi that uses a lot of CPU which likely impacts battery life. Both his and mine stop this process.

Is there a short USB C to 12V cable? The links that were posted before had a too long cable, I think.

Here is the one I use. I bought it to use on other stuff I own too. I put my 340 and battery pack in a pouch that I can take anywhere except beach. All cords fit in pouch. I love the Valentium case but don't need it. Had one with DX260.

If I want to listen to Spotify offline, and if I had just started the device, Spotify has a black screen if WiFi is off, I’d have to turn on WiFi (doesn’t have to be connected), then Spotify would work, then turn off wifi, does this happen to anyone else?

So to reproduce the issue
- turn off wifi
- reboot
- open spotify
- get black screen
- turn on wifi (doesn’t need to be connected, just wifi on)
- Spotify works
- turn off wifi
- Spotify continue to work

Hi,
Quick question, does the DX340 automatically switch from 5.0Ghz to 2.4Ghz as I move away from my router? At the moment it just drops out and will not switch to the 2.4?
My router is set to dual mode but I can split my router into separate 2.5/5.0 but all my other devices just find the 2.4 without having to split my router frequencies.

Cheers :beerchug:

That transition is up to the device and it's proper communication with the access points. Same for AP handoff if you have more than one. Best way to mitigate is split the freqs with different SSID or add another SSID that is only 2.4Ghz and connect to it. Bandwidth difference between the two is irrelevant for DAP use.

FWIW, my DX180 hops between APs without issue. Don't know about frequency though as I have 4 mesh APs that provide solid 5Ghz coverage.
