Which amp cards from the 320 are going to work in the 340? I have a Np Audio card mod amp 11 I would like to use.

May I ask how to get in touch with NP AUDIO? I tried finding info on them but no website. Maybe they don't exist anymore......

Amp11 will not work in DX340. Only 12,13,14. Steve is dealing with some stuff right now. He hopes to be back in the near future. I am sending him one of my 340s to mod and he will email me when he is back working and I will post on here letting people know he is back.

Congratulations Get either LPSU or good power bank for DC 12V in. Super gain is where the 340 comes alive. The included grid power adapter is not good for noise, at least where I live.

I've got the OmniCharge Omni Ultimate and OmniCharge 20 Pro (12V DC barrel out).

Doesn't the DX340 come with a 12V DC power adapter? I was going to just run it off the wall socket. I was gonna try my luck and see if I can drive my Susvara off the DX340 (AMP15). I'm already (barely) driving my Susvara off my WA11 and the DX340 should have more power than that.

P.S. I've got my expectations set...I know I'm not going to get a desktop amp-level equivalent performance.

Yes it comes with a wall wart for the 12V.

Unless you listen at higher volumes than me, I think you should be fine. I tested a friend’s OG Susvara and Susvara Unveiled off of it. I also can run the Immanis, which takes about the same amount of power as OG Sus, off of the DX340 with Amp15. I had the DAC at high, Gain set to High, with (and without 12v). I think I my volume was set to about 85-90.

Curious to hear your results, though!

Using super gain all the time is so addictive at least to me. You will hear it yourself. You can use 12V DC-IN even with LO, at least the icon still appears. Yes it comes with an adapter but at least by me there is too much noise in grid, I can't stand it. I think people here say LPSU is best and 2nd is nicad battery pack. I honestly think those that sell the 340 really did not try super gain and come up with a portable solution. I can deal with an extra pound to have this level SQ and take it everywhere. Volume on Maven2 is 38/100 and on Fable Mason is 42/100. The 340 in high gain should beat the Sony with SG no problem.

The combination of these three items is truly remarkable. The resulting vocals, strings, piano, drums. Mind melting. The dac of the 340 is something to behold, the amp is the limit.

Cannot agree more regarding the DX340/EA4 combo. Both hardware are completing each other perfectly.

I agree also! Great duo, but after listening to the track titled, “Yours”, I was certain I had a blown driver. I replayed the track on another IEM, and was relieved that the “buzz” still remained!

DX340 is amongst the best DAP I've tried last year. It is way too heavy for me to consider for everyday usage, and frankly it is as portable as the MAX family. I personally can't wait to hear the max variety of the ibasso PWD family.

Very good! Outstanding quality and he's responsive to emails. I ordered one for my DX220 MAX when I had that. I plan on ordering one for the DX340 when it comes out.

Edit: I sent him an email asking about a case for the DX340. I'll the thread know.
