Normally it's not slow. Try the Ibasso site again. I just visited and It's zipping right along.

normal browsing to the site is normal now. Downloading firmware is still ~7 hours LOL. I have 35 minutes to go of my original attempt. The 18.x.x firmware is not available on their website, only the 19.x version. Since the DX220 user manual doesn't mention it, and ibasso's response didn't state an answer, can I go direct from 1.17.x. to 1.19.x. or do I need to go in steps (i.e. 1.18.xx. first, then 1.19.x..)?

Is there a DAP on the market for under $500 with touch screen interface that has TOSLINK optical output to external DAC to use as a music server for my home headphone system?

There is nothing there.

In 2025 iBasso is not able to design a device that Win 10 recognizes as external drive. This is idiotic.

iBasso, hire a programmer. Every single piece of hardware I can think of is recognized by Windows 10 and 11. Except iBasso DX220 Max.

$1900 DAP and I can't connect it to Windows as external drive nor DAC. Is this a joke, iBasso?

Anybody's DX220 having connectivity issues? Mine is connected to home WiFi but only Chrome is working. Spotify, Tidal, Play Store etc all show no internet connection.

Reset network settings hasn't helped, might have to go for a full reset.

**EDIT** It's back! Been rebooting since yesterday but a switch to Mango and back to Android seems to have done the trick.
