Actually modifying the dap was beneficial in DX200, most of those shortcomings have been rectified in DX220. Modifying the amp is more beneficial now.
Good but I don’t see on any tutorial how to open the amp module. I just see that you need to isolate each electric chip with TDK piece to ensure that you don’t have electrical noise, but that’s all?

I'm curious, what kind of autonomy do you get? With amp1 mk2 about 5 hours, with iem, low gain and it seems to me a little.

@filip sebastian
5FDP Got your six album Flac 16 bit looped
Settings:
- filter Slow Roll Off.
- Gain - Mid.
- volume - 80.
- stock mango android pleer.
- all wirelesss off.
- amp1mk2
- balanced output with ibasso burn-in cable
6.15h+ On two dx220 daps

I had battery issue in one dap. Playback time was~5h on last fw(and even 4h on previous). I told @Paul - iBasso about it and he sent me replacement battery. After installed I got 1h+ more.

PS With same settings and amp4s i get 8.5+h

I think he has a battery problem, I'll get in touch with Paul. I'm listening to Mango player, everything is off. Low gain, sound 30/40, about 4 hours and 40/50 minutes. Albums 1bit, 16 bits. The battery consumes the same, whether it's low gain or hight gain.

It isn't really an unit spesific issue. I never got more than 4.5 hours of battery my DX220 as well. "8-9 hours of playback" on their website is clearly incorrect.

It is a sealed device, bought at a lower price. Amazon England approximately 750 euros, compared to +1000 euros in Romania.

As much as Android OS can offer and even with google play store being legit. I still love MangoOS in the ability to play at a better/lower floor noises with better resolution. This is one of the main reason why I love Dx220. People don’t take it seriously enough of how much an OS and the coding is behaving within a system and it can effect the performances in the ends. There are only 2 brands with their own OS that I adore so much in Audio performances. First and foremost is Sony and WalkmanOS, next up is Ibasso and Mago.

Since the release of MangoOS until now, there had been continuous improvements, especially with the release of DX220, it improved even more.

@Paul - iBasso i started playing music for less than 10 minutes, and the charge was 92% and all of a sudden the dap shut down, i tried hard reset by pressing the volume button for 10 seconds and more and nothing, very strange as it was not even hot when it happened.

i kept it out for an hour and tried again and nothing no life in the dap, then i put it on the charger and after an hour still nothing the dap is not turning on

i was on latest firmware and using android mode, any advise please

Happened to me once.
Tried to search this thread for answers.
I remember the step is to connect your dap to pc first.
