After about 120 hours..

Increase of sound separation, treble are bit more smoother. Bass slam more organic.

Wow +20dB, I’m strongly considering getting this vs my AK380. The sound is incredible, but I would like a bit more on the bottom end...I like that reverbant slightly boomy bass. Can anyone comment on the bass. I know it’s a reference player just like the 380.
One can boost the bass substantially using EQ or PEQ and the AMP1 MKII module has the power to damage your ears if you aren't careful. I love my bass (see my prior post on EQ settings) and the DX220/AMP1 MKII delivers in spades - coming from the DX90 which was certainly no slouch.

Cheers,
Tim

Wow! Is the the fabled nutube amp? Bet it will be awesome!
I hope it does too! My take on the Nu-tube though....it really depends on the rest of the components that surround it. It’s not pure tube sound (from the guitar products I’ve tried and the Pete Millet Nutube amp I built). It’s like half tube. It’ll flavor whatever opamp configuration that they’ve decided on or discrete components.

Well, it was not own purpose, the position of LO / PO of each vendor is different, when you alrd get used to the position of (Left to right ) PO - LO - Balanced, while IBasso is LO - PO - Balanced... just need to adjust the muscle memory...

An idea to consider is to block the LO with one of those rubber jacks to avoid accidentally plugging phone to it. I had it in X7 and the plug is on top of the equipment which is less likely to mistake

Btw, X7 had volume adjustment on LO
My 2 cents

I am just wondering if the amp 1 or 8 can juice up well Beyerdynamic T1 (600 ohm). Is there anyone here to enlighten me up? Best

I've managed to drive the more demanding QUAD ERA-1 and FINAL Audio D8000 with high gain at 40/100 volume in MangoOS at decent volumes. T1 should have no problems.

Hi,
When you use EQ or PEQ is there a significant volume drop or any hint of distortion?

I often push my Campfire Audio Cascade @140-145 volume with middle gain, do you guys think I could damage my ears ?
My ears do not hurts afterwards and I do not listen for too long period of times at this volume (15-20 minutes).
The music I listen to is mainly bass oriented/edm.

100 dB SPL/mW Sensitivity
38 Ohms @ 1kHz Impedance
