Can't seem to finish the update to 1.09.092. I download the online update then when I reboot this screen the installation starts as expected then this screen shows up:
57416454_329050534453215_7313194742232121344_n.jpg
When I chose the first option "reboot system now", my DX220 boots to it's previous build (1.08.050) without problem.

Anybody could help with this situation ?

Concerning audio quality, I found the DX 220 to have a very bad quality when I play 8kbps .mp3, even through Mango OS. What a disappointment...

By online I presume via wifi?

If so that method appears to not be working for some.

Try
http://www.ibasso.com/down.php

Download it,

Follow the directions

Actually, u just download in PC, via USB put it in the internal Storage DX220, no need s to unzip. then Local update, direct to internal storage. Walah... it detects and do it automatically... well that's what I exp.

Has anyone tested the equalizer in Mango OS? I make a couple of minor tweaks, volume-match, and am uncertain as to whether the sound as a whole has changed accordingly. I bump up 1k and 3.3k by one and it sounds like air got sucked out.

+1 for this, when I tried updating my dx220 out of the box .. I haven’t read the instruction wherein you need to unzip it, I just copied the whole 700mb in the internal and had the updater redirected to where the file is, and the update went well.

Hi @Lurker0 , do you know if the side loaded applications (Qobuz, YouTube etc.) bypass the Android audio interface or is it resampled to the Android set sampling rate? Hiby R6 explicitly mentions "Direct Transport Audio / DTA", but I don't recall seeing it on iBasso system. If not, would your USB driver be a solution to it maybe?

Thanks for the update!

Good theres now more unzipping to be done anymore.

In the DX200 thread there was always someone having trouble updating (as it had to be unzipped first)
Glad its changed and more simple now

Any sample rate, 16-bit samples should pass through in iBasso DAPs for ages. Of course, only if the app itself does not perform downsampling. No documented way under Android to play 24 and 32-bit integer samples, and that's what Hiby avoids speaking about.

My iBasso DX220 order is in!! The feedback here pushed me over the edge.

With heavy heart, my DX150 is up for sale if anyone is interested. Link in signature.
