You won’t be disappointed in SQ dept. I think Solaris sound signature pair very well with DX220 (provided you want grand lively sound).

I wouldn't call it exactly a reference sound (I leave that to LPGT), but of course. it's all a matter of a relative comparison. To my ears, DX200 with original amp1 is a colder reference sound. DX220 with a new amp1ii reminds me a lot of DX200Ti with its amp1Ti, though amp1ii has a slightly fuller body.

What CPU is this DAP rocking?

According to the spec: ARM Cortex-A53 (Octa-core CPU).

How does the burn-in cable work, out of curiosity?

It's just a load to simulate connected headphones. So, instead of blasting headphones while going through burn in, you do a quiet cooking at whatever volume/gain level you desire

Switching between android and mango OS. Is it me or there's a sonically they sounded different?

How wide is the sound stage like though? I have yet to get a chance to demo. Any quick comparisons to SE100? Am on Vision Ears VE6X1. Sold my previous DAP and now on the hunt for an endgame DAP for my portable setup.

I bought my second dap ever a few days ago, a used dx150 and loved the sq so much compared to my m6, but unfortunately it was defective. I wanted to stay within my budget of $500 so it was the perfect dap for me. Fast forward a couple of days later and I just blew my budget by ordering the dx220 just a few minutes ago! Damn

Thats how this hobby flows. Your next one will be 2K.

DX200 owners who buy DX220. I trade Chord Mojo/ Aedle VK-X (2019 - 600 euro) / Quad Era-1 (Mint - 650 euro) For your DX200 if you have a Good selection of amps. For Mojo trade, amp 1 is ok.

I envy dx220 owners...

Ti for me has better separation and blacker background and treble is more sparkling.
