@toughnut By the way, does the DX220 sound better than the R6 Pro?

Out of the box, DX220 sound brittle and unrefined. With 50hrs burn-in and on-going, R6 Pro is up for sale. No doubt on DX220’s SQ.

P.S: R6 Pro still trump DX220 in overall speed in Android OS. Mango OS is speedy though.

Mango OS is stripped down OS (based on Linux if not mistaken) with main function as music player. Equivalent to various custom OS running on other non-android DAP. Low overhead on cpu and ram meant fast performance.

Honestly didn’t spend much time on Android OS. Once I get the burn-in process out of the way, will explore more on that side. Great to have dual boot OS!

Think of a music player app and that’s Mango OS. Play music files with some basic setting. Nothing more.

MangoOS is accessed by holding the power button in Android mode, which prompts a menu to switch off/restart/go to MangoOS.

Unfortunately, no super-upper capacitors being used as I thought. From visually inspection , there are upgraded capacitors but not with the acoustic dampening ceramic caps.

It is too complicated for such video. However, I do post and share the guide about how to get it done.

Had the player for a few days and it's amazing with amp4. Just couple of things on my mind.
- is it normal that the player gets pretty warm when in operation?
- any issues if only one of the screws for the amp module is in place? My amp4 which was a demo unit only came with one screw.
