Can Neutron stream Tidal?

It is without a doubt the NEUTRON is an excellent player, I still have not tweaked anything yet.
I missed the UI, including that vol. slider!




ALL is good, nothing bad.
However, in my set:
Neutron in android; Bass is full, big, textured, warm side. Mids, full, warm, detailed. Trebles, full, detailed. Staging, large. Overall raw, more entertaining, less analytical
Mango player outside android (Mango OS); Bass, controlled, detailed, textured, neutral. Mids, Detailed, neutral. Trebles, neutral, detailed, more extended. Staging, a bit larger, more width, more depth
Overall refined, more low level details. PRAT, ADSR a little better. ∴ the best balance between analytical & entertaining...

I'd say from the name it will use the same amp modules.

Ah shucks, I was going to sell my DX220+AMP8EX! If the AMP8EX fits to this, i might just keep this! Not sure what do i do with the DX220 body

To be honest this sounds like more of a cable problem...it can charge but can't transfer data. Are you using the included cable? Also, I had a similar issue on PC but resetting the device and reupdating the firmware to current seems to have cured it. Good luck.

Yes, I was trying the included cable as well as side makers... same thing. If I use those cables with windows PC and 220 it works absolutely fine. The firmware is a latest one as well...

I found the All to DSD mode thickens the sound a lot, brings the presentation a lot more forward , and adds a colder tonality . It also makes the treble increase in energy and subb bass impact + improves overall speed.

My personal experience w/ dsd 512 is most probably the most hi-fidelity sound that came out of a portable device.
It does compare to premium desktop level timbre.
i auditioned the other flagship portable players as well. So far (our) set is true flagship tuned device out there...

Yes, it is best to offline processing all contents to DSD512 and play back on the player ...except it is expensive like heck
