I careless about R2R, I care more about good and tight precision of resistors and other related components, and then the firmware

Whenever there are enough 0.0004% accuracy precision and 0.0001 PPM drift on temperature for resistors then I will be interested in R2R again

Different tastes are good!! It gives life more flavors!! However, R2R limitations is Technical limitations and not just tastes alone. But of course one can dream ! And as long as there are demand, there will be supplies. There are plenty of other offers in R2R as you stated though. I would be actually sad to see if Ibasso is joining it

Of course it is! This hobby is all about subjective preferences. It just happens to be under my view that I also have some objective reasons such as technical standpoints here and there. I also did not only listen to S/D from desktop system alone but R2R as well, and I would always put my ears before anything else.....but my findings also coincided with the technical limitations of the R2R as a technology.

We all can dream and hope right ? There is nothing wrong with you dreaming up R2R and I dreamed up Sigma Delta system.
But for me personally , I would be a little saddened if Ibasso would go R2R lol
