Oh...I got it to work via Hiby Link. But not quite as fluid as Fiio Link but maybe I need to play with it. It could be very useful. I often connect a Fiio x7 ii to a headphone amp for a power hungry set of headphones and control playback via iPad,with a Bluetooth remote for volume.It would be nice to have the same functionality with the ibasso. If I use Android it is Hiby Music I prefer although I think the 220 is at its very best with Mango OS. Sadly this switches off not only WiFi but Bluetooth. Fiio allows for a Bluetooth connection in their Pure mode,the equivalent of Mango OS whereby android is switched off.

I would try a different channel on your WiFi connection.

Thanks for replay, but changing channel does not help. BTW problem of hiss when playing song or on pause on tidal persist when wifi is off. The same on DAC mode.
