Dx220 is already capable of doing DSD512 Native by itself, which no DAPs on the market even high-end can do....not even DMP-Z1

Dx220 will be able to do external USB-DAC as Native DSD512 just like Dx200. You connect it with a USB cables toward your PC, then you can play DSD512 files by your PC into Dx220

Those 2 things are what even the most expensive DAPS on the market is struggling to do, still

Thanks Whitigir , I knew these profit well since I am DX200(AMP8 with Black Gate) owner as well . However , DX200 cannot USB output to external DAC (except using UAPP) , that's why I want to try .

What DAC that has USB-Interface to take in DSD512 ? Many of the DAC are using Amanero....and they suck at taking in higher than DSD256.

Some DAC is now switching to Singxer SU-1 that can take in DSD512, but rarely see any of them

The next option is to have DSD512 Digitally over USB into a DDC (Digital to Digital Converter) such as Stand-alone SU-1 or Gustard U-16....and then going into DAC, but your DAC have to be Capable of I2S with compatible pins and DSD512

I love to have better interfaces between these digital transport and sources, but so far....beside a good DDC, there is nothing out there even desktop tier to be able to take in DSD512. I am looking toward DSD1024 though

Anyways, back to Dx220.

it had no problems downloading other apps through the Play Store
Do you mean, DX220 has Play Store out of the box? I could retire from custom firmware "business" then :D

I think I made a mistake recalling. It doesn't have a Play Store but it did have some other app that allows you search out apps to install on the demo unit. Apologies for the confusion.
