thinking of ordering amp9 directly from Ibasso since advancedmp3 has it for same price in £ as $ and take a risk with customs.

Does anybody know If airmail actually takes 2-3 weeks or is it much quicker to the UK ?

Ibasso is using DHL express which is very fast, accurate and convenient. You might not to worry if you let DHL contact you via SMS or email since they always update where your package arrived.

I have to mention this, the latest Mango upgrades in firmware is really good! Somehow Ibasso was able to extract details in the textures of the edges of the timbres body very very well without being grainy or harsh throughout the whole spectrum.

Brexit ?
Still not very expensive

I’ll tell you if I get hit as well...

17 pounds was not bad at all, its less that 10% of taxes; once I paid around 18 euros over a Dignis leather case from Korea.
I thought initially to get AMP9 from AMP3 UK (as I did with DX220) but didn’t want to wait so I'll have to carry the guilt if customs burn me ... :confounded: ...

Hi Lurker,
I ran into the problems of updating the add-on for DX220-A8.1-L1.21b1-supdate. When using the RKDevTool v2.47 to upgrade the above firmware and connect to USB-C it said on the tool “Found One ADB Device” but not the Loader one.
How did I adjust or find out what I did wrong to DX220. Every time I hold down the play and on/off button and get this:
625DBB5A-EBD2-43E9-8555-CE6902CA8299.jpeg

Then I can’t turn on the DX220. Please help! Thank you.

@Lurker0,

recenly I experiencing, device hang when on stand by mode (u let the device sleep).
when u want to turn on by hitting the power on, it won't work. U need to hold long press the power button, and the device will power back on.
I was in Android mode. And was pausing UAPP because want to take a leak.

Any advice?
Already happened 3 times...

I did exactly the instructions told me to do but then when I hit run the download boot has about 4% then the “download image failed?”
You may try another USB port or another cable. The port soldered on the motherboard is preferred. If you have both USB 3.0 (blue) and USB 2.0 (white) ports, you may try 2.0. You may also use bootable SD-card to flash the add-on..
I tried to switch to other computer or laptop the tool didn’t recognize the DX220 and no device found after hold on to play button and connected USB to the computer.
There is a link to Rockchip loader mode driver on the page with add-on.

It happens with the stock firmware on some devices as well :frowning2: I still can't find the reason.

I did try bootable SD card before I couldn’t access into the DX220 which is weird.
I also tried to switch the USB cable and got failed mostly.
Are there any possible ways to reboot (wake up) the DX220? When leaving it alone for awhile I can feel it’s getting warmer???
