Honestly these lag claims on the DX200 are getting overly exaggerated. It's not as fast as a smartphone sure, but... it's not a smartphone. It's a music player, and whatever lag there may be is ultimately negligible and not evident in my experience. Talking about literal microseconds of lag. Not that it wouldn't be nice for that small lag to not be there, but seriously not a big issue. For me that is, of course. To each their own.

One pain point for sure is the firmware update process as discussions on that take up nearly half or more of the 1000+pgs of the DX200 thread... hope an easier method gets implemented!

I have never had any lag issues on Dx200....or it never bothered me enough. It could also be that I don’t play games on Dx200.....I do have tons of DSD512 and 512gb MicroSD and it still isnt lagging enough for me to notice.

Perhap I am too old and even slower than the dx200 lag issues

I agreed with both of you and am fine with my previous DX200 and DX200TI. Besides I didn’t update the FW because I am afraid will do something wrong and struggling with that.

For me dx200 is quite laggy (especially in comparison with hiby r6 pro) but I can live with it. But I want dc220 to be faster than his older brother

As of now there is no 220, and they're really not giving us much to talk about for a player that was supposed to come out this month. I think we'd all love to discuss the 220 if there was anything to discuss. ..
