I use 400gb Sandisk Extreme with no problems.

I only trust sandisk extreme series for SD card. The sandisk ultra died on me too many time. Got Samsung evo too, but dying on me too.
Weird to read about dying sd cards. I have many cards since 2006 with no issues. Think I bought over 20 sd cards now and never had one die. Most are Sandisk

What if the guy has a wolverine on his shoulder and he's playing a tuba?
What if your wife is sitting on the couch yelling at you about how much you spend on too many gadgets? Then the volume only needs to be at 5% instead 70%!!!

My original reply was based on listening to classic rock, heavy metal, and the like.

Watch out for those violin playing wolverines being buzzed by mad birds - that is some music for the ages...

Cheers,
Tim

I have the same exact A2 Sandisk card in a 128gb capacity (122gb used). But it's not very fast in reading.
Scanning the full card always puts the DAP to sleep and as a result the scans are always incomplete.
there must be something wrong unless you have tons of mp3's on it, got the 400gb one (with around 260gb in flacs and dsd) and re-scanning library never took over 1/5 min tops, usually around a minute.

Lol luckily I'm not married! And actually wolverines prefer smooth jazz

Smooth jazz - that is very good to know - music soothes the savage beast.

Cheers,
Tim

I reccomend Jeff Kashiwa- Another Door Opens to get her in the mood  Smoooooooth

Actually this is a very good mastered album that's good for putting a dap through it's paces. It's got great breathy sax, piano and tons of different percussive instruments.

Sometimes I kinda hate my curiosity....but given that the Dx220 sound signature is different than Dx200 itself, and the potentials I observe (timbres and density, dynamic impacts)....see what my curiosity has brought me to and lead me where ?

Thanks, I see that most are liking the Samsung Evo Select cards.
Any idea what's different about it compared to the Evo Plus?
There is no difference, they are the same card with a different brand (Evo Select is an Amazon esclusive).

Regarding the MicroSD, I would go with Evo from Samsung all day long. They are the first one in the industry to address the Close cell interferences issues. Coincidentally, Sony did release Audiophile quality MicroSD to address noises that could generate from the MicroSD itself ;). Those are technical and science.

Could you hear the differences ? Up to you . But that is the reason why I would go with Evo line

I will not touch Lexar again....the thing died on me out of the blue...just one day pulling out from my drawer and it is dead....
