A bit offtopic: is there any android app (music player) which is capable of recording (and showing)statistics like: total play time, most played song,play time per album, playtime per day, average play time per session etc. ? would be interesting for me.

Ok, so then it appear that IBasso just need to release an Asio Driver for Windows to be able to do PCM768Khz or so. Been trying around with this and it only play music at 384Khz max

If the dap is internaly capped at 384 it wont go higher in windows no matter what.
In that regard ibasso would have to unlock it with a fw update plus a windows driver to. But i know it will never happend

It will , I believe Ibasso does that. Previously Dx200 was not capable of Bluetooth DAC/Amp function. Now it does since 4 months ago or whatever.

No, the Dx200 is not internally capped out at 384Khz. It can do DSD512, PCM768 is right up it alley. It just need driver

See this comparison charts...ES9028Pro can do more than what AKM4497EQ do, ofcourse 768KHz is right up there. Notice 135Db in Mono ? AK4497EQ is 131Db in mono 0_0

See the power consumption ? 500mW. ES9028Pro is not easy to implement and satisfy. Back when Ibasso released Dx200, many of us couldn’t believe that they squeezed 2xEs9028Pro inside a Digital Portable player. Because back then, even desktop DAC still couldn’t LOL



Ugh...what about AKM4497EQ ? LPGT has 1x chip, and SP1000 has 2x chips. So many ? It only consumes 384mW where as Es9028Pro does 500mW.

No, It is not easy to implement and engineer a portable to sport 2xES9028Pro and keep the pricing that Dx200 does.

One comment in lpgt thread had some sense to it. Probably ibasso maybe limit the dac slightly to make it more adequate and battery friendly. It also has heat issue Id say. It get to hot with dsd and slightly hot enouf with flacs to.
All that dont contribute well some how need to componsate to make it reliable and working for longer period of times.

It is true 2 x 9028pro is quiet a super challenge! Also I dony know if its better to have 1 dac or 2 lol I guess Ibasso know better

Did u read the picture of akm4497 ? 128Db dynamic range in stereos and 131Db in Mono (each chip per channel). So, higher is better. Can you hear it ?

I don’t want to debate, I will mostly aim for dual configuration. People pay $3800 for an upgraded cables. Makes no senses to use single chip lol
