It clicks if something is turned on, and that can be quiet loud. It clicks less and hiss less in Mango mode (according to what I read through the thread. I never heard it hisses because I only used it with headphones). But you are using it to stream online contents though right ? Some of the iems has very bad hiss with DAP, and even worse with WiFi or Bluetooth signals, especially WiFi.
The clicking is solved with dx150 though it was designed differently and is a lower tier player. When I used my dx200, I don’t stream anything WiFi at all, sometime just Bluetooth. Especially recently I am actively using Bluetooth more with DAC+amp feature, but it still won’t be any noises or hisses with Hd800s
Paul will help you out. Just Pm Paul. The worse can happen is that you need to get it repaired
It happens to my DX200TI too when streaming musics online but nothing happens after downloading into Onkyo Music Player app.
Someone asked me how to connect dx200 into Desktop amplifier specifically hdv820 to use dx200 as analog out preamp source for headphones. You will need something like this. 4.4mm into dual xlr3 Male!
I use spotifi in offeline mode and still clicks occasionally. How do you use the bluetooth my phone dont whant to send audio to dx200.
On wifi its true i can hear it. The wifi noise.
I use spotify only with offeline mode
Yea but isnt the best way to do it is threw coax
That is not normal, I never experienced the amp modules or dx200 to be noisy when connected to external amplifiers. Get that module to Paul attentionsHi
I just installed amp7 and have couple of questions. Maybe someone noticed similar issues.
I’m mainly using ibasso with external audio equipment.
When plug to phone output I can hear only loud distrated noise, line out is fine. Also when pluging in headphones is fine too.
That behaviour was never noticed on any other amps ( amp1 nor amp5).
Many thanks
Coax, is when you use dx200 as a digital transport. Kinda like a digital server and it does upto dsd64 over DOP (very crazy!). This is using your external DAC to do the job
Bluetooth, you update to newest firmware. Then turn off WiFi, go into Bluetooth, and enable DAC+Amp Bluetooth mode in android, then connect to your smartphone by Bluetooth
Use analog 4.4mm out into xlr3 male to use dx200 as analog preamp source to desktop amplifier. It means you are using Dx200 builtin DAC
Today I am using Dx200 USB-DAC into my Stax system with live conversion 16/44.1 into DSD512 using HQPlayers! Mango mode ! Mind blown X_X

A question specific for @Paul - iBasso . Will you enable the DSD Native filter features from ESS9028Pro ? IIR40k/75k or so ?
Has anyone got live upsampling to DSD512 to work with Audirvana Plus? No matter what settings I try in Audirvana's Audio System upsampling only goes up to DSD256 and DSD512 is greyed out. It doesn't matter if I'm using the USB DAC function in Mango or Lurker's Android FW.
Is this just a limitation of A+ or has someone got it to work?
There is no mango mode in usb dac lol. dont go crazzy with that 512 dsd haa you gona burn a hole somewhere
Mango mode (not mango in android OS), swipe left
Chose usb settings
Go to DAC
Crazy with DSD512 and burn a hole somewhere ? My pocket is already burned by my desktop system. The latest was burned by dx200 Offline DSD512 files onto 400gb MicroSD. My PC is already built enough for live conversion of DSD512 on the fly
Audirvana 3.2 sucks with DSD512 Upsampling in Windows 10-64 bits. The only thing works so far is Foobar, and or HQplayers, and I have bought them all...except Roon LOL!
no that dsd 512 is to powerfull it have already burned a hole in my head you talk so much about it lol. It ok you are happy with dsd512.
I think dx200 as a source to reproduce the music and send to dac amp is the best way to benefit for a pure file transfer. but rest is kinda downgraded for me.
where did you buy dsd512, hell my hdv820 dont even support that high lol

I didn't know you could do this! The DX200 constantly has problems connecting to the WiFi at work (ever since I changed floors...) that streaming has become a huge pain.
How do you get this to work? I turned on the setting and paired the devices. However, when I play music through Spotify on the iPhone, there is no sound on the DX200. What am I missing?
