@WindowsX I am trying to install you firmware. I have installed the Rockchip Usb driver for Windows8 64Bit. But when i open the app FactoryTool.exe i am getting the message "loading config file failed". Anyway the app is starting but when i select the update.img the app is crashing. What should i do?
I have the Sony WM1Z here and burning it in. It is more euphonic sounding compared to the WM1A and the DX200. The Dx200 is more more neutral. Both are great to listen to. I prefer balanced on both and to me, the 1Z does sound different than the WM1A. To me, the WM1Z is better and a better match to the DX200 because they are different. I am using the Focal Utopia and various formats.
Could anyone please give me some quick instructions on how to get USB driver working on windows 10? Have downloaded .rar file but not sure where to go from there. Have tried looking at audio devices under device manager but cannot seem to select driver. Thanks
To use the DX200 as a dac.
At the moment I am connecting, turning on dac mode (tried in both Mango OS and android), dx200 shows up as "other" in device manager, but windows will not find the driver when I try to update it.

unzip the IBASSO_USB_Audio_v3.34.0.rar file and run the .exe file. After that's done plug in the dx200 and enable the DAC ( I usually do it through Mango), and it should come up as a device to manage in the control panel under sound. Don't forget to go to Properties --> Advanced to set the quality you want. Mine defaulted to cd quality.
Sounds like many folks haven't experienced this problem. To his credit, Paul from Ibasso offered to help. Hopefully simply getting a replacement from the vendor will do the trick.

I have owned the DX100 and IMO, all of the positive audio characteristics have been improved. From a software standpoint the current firmware is more stable and user-friendly that that of the DX100. From a hardware standpoint, the WiFi reception capability of the DX200 is far and away superior to that of the DX100. Battery life is fairly close between the two, depending on the bit-rate and sample rate of the files played. Perhaps an hour better with the DX200.
