Never use wifi on my R10 since only the stock player can use the ESS hardware (and because I've yet to stream Tidal HD at $20/mth).
 
The custom firmware on mine improved audio quality and speed. Seems like (for me) the DX200 would mostly be an ergonomic upgrade.
 

The DX200 is more powerful, has the qualities of the DX100 and brings them up a notch but I will admit, and I use the Russian FW, that the DX100 is a great player and still reaches to the best with its transparent clean sound. Also you will have the choice of different amps as they become available. 
 
Comparing the DX200 to the Sony WM1Z, the 200 sits among the top players for sure, and IMO, is better than the WM1A.

Sound quality is the main reason I've yet to sell mine. With the R10 being a slight improvement (I believe) over the DX100, the custom FW should put it very close to the DX200 for sound quality.

I have owned the DX100 and IMO, all of the positive audio characteristics have been improved. From a software standpoint the current firmware is more stable and user-friendly that that of the DX100. From a hardware standpoint, the WiFi reception capability of the DX200 is far and away superior to that of the DX100. Battery life is fairly close between the two, depending on the bit-rate and sample rate of the files played. Perhaps an hour better with the DX200.

dx100 is not the same as hdp r10 in terms of SQ. R10 is on another level

Many fans of V4A. And for those who doesn't want it, it can be disabled.

I thought that shows only stock AMP1 specs which I'm aware of, haven't found anything else
