I really like the pairing of this and the isine20s. Really good synergy.

Let the DX200 break in for while, then you'll understand you won't be needing your Sony Walkman anymore.

Should have good resale value atm.

OK, so we had plenty of pretty unboxing pictures, now it's time to get down and dirty

Someone mentioned in one of the previous posts about having an issue with a volume wheel, and Paul suggested it's very easy to take the side panel off in order to fix it.  I thought my DX200 review unit had a rather stiff volume wheel, so I figured - a little DIY wouldn't hurt.  Just need a screwdriver with a torx bit (T6) and you are in business!  Very easy to take the corner side panel off, and then wheel is easy to take out as well.  Now, the volume wheel is easy to turn.  Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Also, as all of you are aware, AMP module is removable and replaceable.  The module has a very secure attachment, figured some might enjoy a few pictures as well.

Quality design!

Yeah, would have been great with dual uSD and internal 128GB, BUT keep in mind, for this much $$ we're talking about one of the cheapest flagship DAPs (Opus#2 - $1.6k, LPG - $2k, WM1Z - $3.2k, AK380 - $3.5k-$5k).

I have a quick question. Can I downgrade the firmware?

Have you extracted it first? After you extract it, there are 2 files, 1 note file of how to update and the other is zip. Use the zip and copy to dx200

Ohh.. how stupid of me. I just copied to sd card without unzipping.

Anyway i tried using HD6XX with high gain and turned volume up to 140. It that normal? Felt a bit underpower.

Thank you very much

I have been using the Utopia and the HE1000 V2 balanced. The HE1000 are harder to drive but 120 volume setting works fine and there is plenty of headroom. Are you using balanced or single ended?

The Single ended (3.5mm) is about have the voltage swing as the balanced (2.5mm). With my HD800 120 - 130 is plenty loud.
