the clock seems to be stuck on am as well nothing in the settings will allow me to take it to pm or past midday so i think there may be something seriously wrong

No problem!

There may be an issue. Maybe try a factory reset. I had the Optical switch stick on the first DX200 I had. The second one has been flawless. It will be worth it my friend! Email Paul. He's get it right for you!

The best instructions for updating are on the 1st page of the thread.

On a PC you hook up the DX200 by the USB, go out of the music play mode by sweeping up from the bottom of the screen and touching on the little circle in the middle bottom of the screen. Then swipe left to settings for that area, or just swipe down, while plugged in with the USB and you will see File Transfer. Touch that and the DX200 will show up. I use a Mac but also Windows 7 and 10.

Ok slow down guys!!

I’ve only tried amp1 and it doesn’t have 200 hours on it yet!!
However straight off the bat using my Senn HD660s the amp4s seems to present as having more depth and more bass presence. I need to listen more though and with some of my IEM’s.
What I can say is that early impressions from the Senns are good. The Senns were great already but balanced on the amp4s has opened them up a bit more.

From what Paul (iBasso) mentioned, the 250 units of production run of AMP4S seems to be a limited run just like the AMP4 before it. And I frankly don't understand the thought process behind stopping AMP4 and starting AMP4S with only limited units. But I don't have any complaints as I've the AMP4 and AMP4S will be delivered Monday.

You have already enjoyed amp4 and now getting amp4s but why are you worrying about ibasso’s business? I think there are reasons why they have to limit amp4(s) production.
