I think it will more of personal preference than better because of the AKM DACs. Whoever don't like the sound of DX200 can go for DX150 because it can use all the AMP modules.Who knows eh, be interesting to see how amp 3 for instance will sound through the 150 compared to the 200.
You’ll be able to buy it from ibasso website.
If Paul says it will be back in production, then it will be available from the usual vendors and direct from the Ibasso site. He is a very reliable fella and has the trust of a lot of people, especially the ones that have dealt with him directly. I have one on preorder and I’m not concerned at all, just keeping myself busy until it arrives and if you order directly when it’s available, it won’t take long to get to you.I hope you are right, and it isn't any kind of situation where they will only be supplied to third party vendors. (Since as of right now it appears Advancedmp3players are the only ones taking preorders and they don't ship to the USA.)
Yes we have replacement parts. I will reply to your email right away.Does ibasso sell replacement parts for the dx200?

I just recieved the 2.5 to 4.4 mm adaptor and got to try out amp4 for the first time ever. (I used my 1st gen Layla IEMs.)
The soundstage is... unholy.
I just had to report that. It's godless. The soundstage on the amp4 is an unholy cathedral erected by the dark lord himself to beguile man. It's that good. How anyone can survive having the dx200 without the amp4 I can not imagine.
I'm absolutely blown away right now.
That’s awesome, just what I want to here. Should have mine in about two weeksI just recieved the 2.5 to 4.4 mm adaptor. This allowed me to finally try out amp4. I used my 1st gen Layla IEMs. And... oooh boy.
The soundstage is unholy.
I just had to drop by and report that. It's godless. An unholy cathedral erected by the dark lord himself to beguile man. Which is to say it's very very good. How anyone can survive having the dx200 without the amp4 I do not know.

I haven't said it like this but the way your prose it is great. lol But the DX200 with the AMP4 or for single ended AMP5 is better than anything else I have heard or have. I enjoy the WM1Z a lot and it is very musical but the DX200 with either of these two AMP's is better. I also got to compare for some time the SP1000 that a friend has (I have overspent my budget) and it is the DX200. So money can not be a barometer unless you just enjoy spending it. I have to admit, the AMP4 is a surprise in a very good way. And, I love the 4.4 plug! Not much chance of it breaking.I just recieved the 2.5 to 4.4 mm adaptor and got to try out amp4 for the first time ever. (I used my 1st gen Layla IEMs.)
