If one had the 1A and sold it for the DX200 and now thinking of buying the 1Z that right there makes no sense what so ever. It scares me.

No way would I sell the DX200. The 1Z looks real pretty but its weight is what scares me. I didn't mean to scare you. Are you ok? :^)

Depends on what B&H charges for shipping and if they include extra items too. There's no item description on their site yet.

Despite the "free shipping" in the Amazon listing, ProStudio Sound & Music added $35 for shipping to my order (at the checkout screen) with the explanation, and I quote "Shipping is calculated automatically and it depends on your address".

On the B&H site they are showing free expedited shipping on the DX200, but of course some have to arrive before any can be shipped.

Good point :). Then again might even come in sooner that at ProStudio Sound & Music as they list, depite being in stock 1-2 weeks for shipping within the US. Which nowadays seems like stagecoach speed

I also have accumulated several hundred hours of use and just today received my CB12 balanced cable which paired with the IT03 really makes the DX200 sing. I do notice an improvement in soundstage dimensions, even more precise imaging and additional power as reflected in the necessity to reduce volume control about 10 steps to yield the same volume level.

The CB12 is very supple and overall a very nicely constructed cable. I'm kind of spoiled now to go back to the single-ended phones.

A beautiful cable. I keep assuming everyone is listening to the DX200 balanced. IMO if you aren't, you are missing out on a ton of sound. Everything I have can be run as balanced or SE. Like having a few hundred hours on the DX200, not running it balanced also misses a lot of excellent sound.

Even with steaming services? Can they take full advantage of balanced?

Sure. If you have a signal it will output either single ended or balanced. Your choice.

Guys, does anyone experience static noise? It's in my left channel, only when WiFi is on and growing when data is transferring. And it's not some background hiss but pretty loud noise. I updated firmware last night and did factory reset. The noise is not depended on volume or either music playing or using app. It's just there when WiFi on.

All stream apps like Tidal are unusable.

Anyone find the latest Tidal APK?

Linked from the first post: http://www.head-fi.org/t/791531/dx200-details-features-and-specifications-1st-page-with-wifi-and-bluetooth-interchangeable-amps/2655#post_13189774

How you get Tidal to DX200 without Google Play store?

On your pc / mac, you go to playstore then search for Tidal. Copy the whole URL (in this case = https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aspiro.tidal) then go to https://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/

Paste the tidal url and click Generate Download link then download it. Now you have tidal APK.

Now to your DX200, go to setting > Security > Unknown sources turn it on.

Plug DX200 to your pc /mac, make sure it's in File Transfers mode then copy / move Tidal APK to where ever you want. Open file explorer, go to where you put APK, then open it. Install >> Enjoy

That's how I downloaded it and I think it should be the latest.

Streaming Tidal right now. I only hear the music. No static noise at all.

And a sidenote, Tidal offline works flawless .

The static noise is there when you use sensitive iem but its still low in my opinion, the static noise on Fiio X7 is far louder.

I'm not hearing the static noise when using portable headphone like Audeze Sine.

All stream service is work fine for me, the static noise is still pretty low with my Noble Katana, and btw I always download the song/album that I like.
