Different people like different sounds. We are still getting requests for AMP4s and for AMP4. I think that many will like AMP8 if you are using 4.4 TRRRS. It does have less play time, around 7.5 hours depending upon load and resolution of the music. AMP8 puts out a lot of power, around 1.2 watts into 32 ohms. We will have it out in 1.5 to 2 weeks.

Hi Paul,

Are those for full sized headphones? Or iems friendly as well?

Maybe you can try to see if the files had been accidentally “Hidden”.

Try go the “View” then click to see “hidden” files.

The Hidden Files checkbox is already checked. I just un-checked it, and nothing changed. So I re-checked it, and still no luck.

Any more ideas?

Recap: My PC can no longer see the music files on Internal Storage. SD Card is viewable. But nothing shows up when I browse Internal. The DX200 still sees them, and plays them fine.

Are you in Android or Mango?

I’m using a Mac, and when I connect the dx200 to my Mac in mango mode, I can only see the microsd card.

Great stuffs, found this information on the net :

Discrete circuits are ones that are comprised of individual components on a circuit board rather than using plug in integrated circuits or IC's .

Discrete circuits are common in older equipment before the invention of IC's but are still used in more expensive or higher end equipment so that the designer can have more control of the fine detail in the circuit he is designing .

The other advantage is that discrete circuits can withstand much higher currents and power output .

The downside of discrete circuits from a manufacturers point of view is the extra cost in time and labour which is why discrete circuits are now usually found in more expensive higher power equipment .

Now I wonder what will be the price for AMP7 & 8:beyersmile:

Is there a chance you have disabled Android's media scanner? If you did, just enable it.

Nice thing about discrete is that you can change individual components to tune/improve the sound/quality of output, like replacing better capacitors, resistors or fast diodes :D
I have not been using amp4s, mostly driving the cans with amp1 into an hybrid tube amp. It will be interesting to see how the higher output power on full size cans performs.

OK, there is a big chance that you did not :) Nevertheless, please try to read here, just in case...

Where do I find the screen for the system settings? USB audio? General settings?

EDIT : Nevermind I found it, its inside USB audio before you start it.

1.2w into 32ohms sounds like a win for fullsize cans. Will wait for full spec to be released.

Sure will be great for fuill size headphone, now I also see a benefit across the board as it will also mean more headroom for IEMs (provided output impedance is low)
