Looks like there's a limited edition Falcon Ultra ("long year") coming out. Anyone know anything about this? Looks beautiful I love my Falcon Ultra and would definitely be interested in this if the tuning were meaningfully different.

Tried the glacier on Sunday. They were really good but the upper mids felt shouty. I heard it pretty quickly so that just made it a deal-breaker. For my ears. If that part was tuned better I think they would have been great.

I got a pair of Dunu Glaciers from Canjam NYC. Excellent separation and accurate imaging (I've been listening to HD800S for years), and the cymbal hits were also what immediately stood out to me. To me it retains most of the great vocal and punchy characteristics from the Zen Pros (which I feel are the Focal Clears of IEMs) while filling in some of the areas that needed improvement, such as more detailed highs and *excellent* bass. Though for me the treble at times can be a bit too sparkly (while I won't describe them as sibilant per se) I EQ them down around 5db for longer listening sessions. Another great plus compared to the Zen Pros is that they are comfortable---I can wear them for hours at a time, whereas for the Zen Pros due to its shape after 30 min - 1 hour, it gets a bit painful due to its shape. Something I found regarding the attached ear tips after trying them all, is that getting a size down to small (I usually use medium-sized tips) and inserting them deeper into the ear (these IEMs have a long protrusion for relatively deep ear insertion) can provide excellent seal and comfort while I found it to help tame the treble just a little bit.

Yes, actually it is the Falcon Ultra Titanium grey. There is no difference in the tuning.

Thank you so much for your sharing! Indeed, Zen Pro was my EDC before Glacier came out. The comfort feeling might depend on the individual and the matching degree of the tips and of course the shape of IEMs and our ears. Still, it is great that you post it and like it.

The Glaciers can be quite a few things, but I think congested won't be one of them. It is one of the most spacious and well seperated set I've ever heard (possibly the former is partially due to the elevated treble like the HD800S tho the FR is only one factor)

Sensitivity to treble is up to the individual and the genres you listen to. As a college student who's relatively sensative to sibilance (and returned the DCA Aeon Noirs because of it) I find it quite bearable for most music (maybe due its electrostatic drivers, the elevated treble have a fine texture instead of being sharp shrieky, to me it makes it a bit better then an identical measuring IEM with BA for highs lets say, but the timbre is not as natural at the highend as Zen Pro's single DD). Though for desktop use where I listen to 4+ hours at a time (I don't listen very loud) I use PeaceAPO to EQ the hotspots down 5-7db. While still being an IEM (my experience with autio is mostly with headphones, and I have a pair if 800S at hand), it is very spacious and the positioning is extremely accurate, likewise paired with its comfortable shape (better contours, deeper insert than the Monarch IIs I tried at CanJam) making it an excellent set to daily drive (when I can't wear headphones too long due to long hair) and play games with. It is a relatively weighty set (for an IEM, due to its material), but I have not found that to be a problem at all even after days of long usage.
