Just got the davinci today. Trying to put on the candy tips, but it's the most frustrating iem/eartip combo I've ever dealt with.. I can literally feel myself going red šŸ˜…

Any advice would be appreciated.
Pinch the eartip nearly flat and roll it onto nozzle. I've had next to no issue with putting on eartips even on IEMs with large nozzles with this technique.

I don't have the DaVinci, but my process for putting on ear tips is the same as how I show it below on the Mirai. Simply unfurl the flange, push the bore over the nozzle using the flange as additional grip which also opens up the bore slightly, rotate inward to get it all the way in, and then fold the flange back in place:

Let's try it this way. Firstly, turn over the cap of the tip. Then, the nozzle is angled at 45 degrees to snugly fit the earphone tube. Third, fit the nozzle and tube tightly together, pushing them in until the angle becomes 0 degrees. Finally, adjust the nozzle and turn down the cap of the tip.

I love Dunu so much as any IEM I had from them has been worth the asking price.
However when it comes to single DD IEMs the Sennheisers are incredibly hard to beat .
They sound like multi driver IEMs and beat easy many of them In terms of sound.

As for the Glacierā€¦
I don't want to be boring about the Dunu Glacier but it easily beats all Thieaudio IEMs when it comes to coherence, soundstage and treble to my ears .

And here are two flagship IEMs I sold recently after I got the Glacier as I couldn't keep all of them and had to buy the iBasso DX260.
Linsoul Jupiter xHBB and the Thieaudio Voyager 14. Sorry Thieaudio, really sorry. I have enjoyed both of them so much. Bye bye Thieaudio, bye bye.

I have the feeling that many IEMs will sound not so good when compared to the Glacier. The Glacier review is coming soon.

Sorry Thieaudio, really sorry.
As much as I love Dunu, few people will get your point comparing mid-2024 flagship to ThieAudio in 2020...
Don't write a review based on that it will disqualify it.

At least compare to thieaudio prestige ltd which is older and cheaper...

Thieaudio and Dunu and others brands are just leveraging better understanding and pushing prices down while trying to maximize margins.

Nah it doesnā€™t matter how old an IEM is as some IEMs can still sound even better than new ones even after 10 years. Example shure KSE, Sony Z1R, 64 audi u12t, Final Audio iems etc. The Thieaudio Voyager 14 for example is a details monster and can produce a truly monitor-like sound. Some say that they liked it more than the u12t and the anole VX for this reason.
Is very good donā€™t underestimate it.
Also which iem you think can beat the monitor like sound of the v14 ? Hmm. Also it is relatively new, 4 years old.
Additionally, the Linsoul Jupiter XHBB is a refined Monarch MK3 and Prestige LTD with 4 ESTs and very new model like the glacier and is considered the best IEM Thieaudio has ever produced. Thieaudio is a brand under Linsoul is the same.
I can say that Glacier does many things better.

Also I don't have any other models in this price range.
I'm not a professional.
it's only my hobby. I have the Audiosense near me where I can compare 4k, 6k, and 10k IEMs as they can send them to my home without any charge but it doesnā€™t have the famous one.
When I say that a particular IEM does things better or worse it's always a matter of preference.
Even when comparing to 10k IEMs the difference is small as sound quality improvement becomes very minimal after a certain point the main differences is in the tuning and refinement which makes no sense for the asking price.

As you can see my account is new and I'm not a professional reviewer.
I only wanted to do this for one reason,
to help potential buyers make an informed and right purchase.
I don't have time to spend on detailed reviews but I believe providing this information is important.
