That is right. The knock offs are in full effect here. On bases we have what we call "Haji Shops". These are shops ran by Iraqis. Everything they sell are bootleg. Movies, games, Oakleys, glasses and backpacks..

Now, they have the tours and studios. The lowest price I have seen for the studios is 170 and they highest was around 300.

I almost was suckered into buying them. Actually, I was looking into them and I found out they had knock offs, then I found this site, where I have learned quite a bit in the passed couple of days.

A friend of mine bought some and he swears they are real. I know they aren't but he still claims they are. Thankfully, i did not fall for them. I had know idea there was alternatives to Beats and Bose. I just ordered some Phiaton MS 400's.

I guess this thread is to thank yall at Head-Fi, and also to warn others that may come across this site.

Oh, I did end up buying some tours. They were only 40 bucks and I used them while running. Not a loss.
