It’s a Superconductor. I got a good deal on an 8 footer, perfect length for my use case. Does it make a difference in sound? I dunno, I feel like it makes the sound a little smoother. (And I’m not really a believer in cables tbh) Either way, I just really wanted one haha.

It’s actually wonderfully light, much more than the stock cable.

They are very different headphones. Not much overlap.

There are some similarities from my first session: a smooth sound, very solid in sub-bass. The MR has less bass / mid-bass obviously, but it is more forward, has a more prominent midrange and is exceptional with vocals. Lighter and more comfortable. If you like the Final sound, the MR is a nice "variation on the theme"

Can someone explain the sonic differences between DTC and DTCV2 and 1266?

I dont see a V2 on the Abyss webpage.

V2 was replaced by the MR. Can’t speak to the differences as I only have V2

No. The TC is a newer model.

The Diana, Diana V2 and Diana Phi has all been discontinued. Your left with Diana MR or Diana TC in the new market. The rest would have to be bought Used.

TC is miles ahead of V1 and V2, btw. And they're great headphones.

Yes, but with way more comfort. Can't match the sonic boom of the 1266 low end, but in the right chain, the TCs can slam really hard.
