To me they were not an upgrade to the GR07s (and far from it), for others it seems so. It will be an upgrade depending on your signature preference I gather

kong the DGS100 is a much much warmer and bassier sound than the GR07s. I wouldn't say they are an upgrade. It's just a different sound. From what others have described, that warm sound must be the Sidy house sound. I highly doubt the DGS200 will be an upgrade to the GR07 for me only because the DGS100 was so far away from what I would consider a good sounding phone. I've never tried customs before so the only clear "upgrade" over the GR07s are some of my cans that I've had like HE500, TH600, HD600 and now the HD800

I like my dgs100 more than my gr07be. It has more of a 3-d sound than my gr07be.

It comes down to preference

Not yet, they haven't heard anything about the sound signature as of yet. Do you still use your DGS100 often?
