DGS100 Appreciation thread. The game changing budget-fi two-way hybrid universal IEM

Im saying around 200 hours for you guys, it took me around 125 hours because I use heavy bass/ trance tracks and I used maximum volume on my mp3 player since the beginning. I know most of you arent as crazy as me putting them on full blast for 125 hours straight with the risk of damage. Anyway does anyone know how many of the dgs100 were produced? Im guessing around 200-300 units?

Mine was on full blast also

  also drive flex:cry:

Just like I told you, no surprises here with DM3, right?  Burn them in and use the widest possible tips you can find.  Soundstage width average, depth below average.  Still wider than KC06A lol!!!  Treble is not as extended, but will open up a little bit with a brighter sound after burn in and WIDE eartips.

I warned you guys, these are warm and smooth at the expense of details, but still will be clear after burn in using WIDE eartips.

"Senn" double flanges? How are they? I've only used the stock foamies so far. Best foamies I think I've ever used

yeah these are Meelectric (same as I believe) and seem to smooth the peaks at high and low end just a bit... I do like those stock foams too for even more IMPACT... these are my FAV "movie theater/concert hall" sounding IEMs LOL

already hearing changes and using fx850 tips . Bass got tighter and treble came out abit, soundstage is good , but driver flex

from my review: http://www.head-fi.org/t/684159/chinese-asian-brand-info-thread-headphones-iems-amps-dacs/8670#post_10931324 - in one of the pictures with the widest tip:

in addition to helping with keeping the bass down and upper frequencies more open, it help a little bit with flex.  I'm trying to remember where these tips came from, probably some cheap Beyer IEMs, but with a softer silicone side you get not as tight seal and thus less air pressure to cause driver flex.

But in reality, if SIDY guys would have put air port opening on the other side of the strain relief (toward the nozzle) and had a little pinhole opening on the back of the shell - it would have relieved some air pressure thus reducing driver flex effect.  Not to mentioning giving it some "air" for a wider soundstange.  Of course, it's a compromise of a sound signature...
