DT3's interest me.....still waiting on some more results on these.

Reading this thread, I shake my head wondering how it is that many people are hearing a "bleed" from the mid bass. Idk, but my pair sound amazing with strong bass presence, little to no bleed, and transparency, detail, and extension on both ends I've seldom if ever heard.

If if it's "burn in" or the tips I'm using, or maybe I got a mutant pair. The dm3 is muddy and muffled in comparison, and has significantly more mid bass which bleeds into the midrange.

I guess to each their own. My dgs100 is still the best sounding thing I have.

Sorry guys, just going off of what I'm hearing. I'm still due for some tip rolling on these dm3. I hope that yields better results.

What I'm hearing from my dm3 is a very warm signature with lots of mid bass, and is very rolled off on both ends. I haven't had more than three or four sessions with it, and have maybe 15 hours on it.

I want these dm3 to be good, but I got a start hearing something I like before I can start posting impressions.

They almost remind me of a refined hk2, which I really disliked
