Yes I like the 7200 a lot. I ser why its tuned as its so easy on the ear and never sounds thin :) Current plan is trying kennerton magni for a hopefully more neutral tuned headphone to complement the 7200. Its still cheaper then just a 9200. Will see how that goes.

Does anyone have a good picture of d9200 driver? I was wondering if they actually sell authentic OEM leaked driver on aliexpress or is it just a nice looking copy.

If that link does not work:

No they do not look like the 9200 or the 7200, but I believe they may look similar to the 5200..

Could be this Denon be the graal??
Thank you and sorry for my english, I live in Italy
The headphones you speak of are all open cans which sound a bit further away.
The Denon cans will sound a bit closer and much more vivid ..

What about a comparison between the 7200 and the 9200? Do you evaluate the latter a real upgrade?

Yes the 9200 is a real noticable upgrade because the whole lower spectrum loses any wood color and is much cleaned up and resolving.
The midrange is very transparent and the trebles are up about 3-4 db over the 7200 so it has a clear trebles, a bit touch more than neutral maybe 1db, while the 7200 was a bit lower trebles than neutral...

The 7200 is a bit more colored and fun can.
Very nice and above most mid-grade cans.

The 9200 is a reference level can.

That's surprising as everyone always highlights sony's massive soundstage for a closed back. Can you describe the denon vs sony soundstage in a bit more detail? I can't test either before i buy so i'm dependant on feedback here.

Everybody like 8 people ? 5 reviewers ? I didnt say Sony had a small soundstage. Compared to the Previous totl Sony it had more wider soundstage. Now compared to the 9200 the Sony had less. I had the Sony then sold it.

R10 is very old and is a collection piece. Z1r is more comfy but the 9200 destroys the z1r in overall sound.

Just to confirm the mdr z1r soundstage is not as good as the denon 9200 soundstage. But the previous totl sony r10 had better soundstage than the denon 9200?
