got those pads, and its money wasted, dam they made the denon loose all its details, and its bass becomes so much

this proves only stock pads work best

original pads on left

It was a while ago, but maybe someone is interested in my experience with these pads.
I also bought these pads and first I was disapointed too.
While waiting for my Stax 009 pads I have done some mods after talking with Zolkis.
I removed the mesh and trimmed the inner diameter of the backdisk. Also trimmed the foam.
Now bass is on level as D7200 but with cleanest heights I ever heard so far.
Thanks to Zolkis!
I am curious how the Stax pads will do.

I have been a D9200 owner for some time now, which is my end game closed back running it through the T+A HA200 DAC amp. I had the Stellia and Vertite and would take D9200 over both any time, independent of the price. HifiMan brought out the HE-R10P as the "ultimate" closed back, I am wondering what extra it will have to deserve nearly 4x the price.

What cable are you using with the D9200?

I sent my Arctic Cables Cuprum back to add a right angle plug. I have missed it and hope to have it back next week. I will post some photos with the new plug.

Nothing fancy, just some simple balanced cable from Amazon. Or sometimes I use the stock cable for single ended.
the 9200 is so great that honestly this is where hoping to scale it up with cables in hopes to improve is a waste of money. The 9200 sounds great and there is no excuse to buy cables in hopes to improve it like what happens with other headphones, where you hope things will improve by changing a cable

yeah nothing fancy is needed for 9200, all respect for denon for making such a masterpiece, I am still not happy bout not being able to easily buy stock pads unless u shed alot of money

The th900 pads fits the 9200. So there are so many companies that makes pads for the th900.

Good to know. Looks like there quite a few options for replacement pads other than from Denon themselves anyway.

Have you sold your 9200?
Yes , but my friend has the th900 and 9200 and he just exchanged pads. The th900 has a bigger opening , the th610 has a smaller opening than the th900 but bigger than the 9200.
