hah, just when I was finally convinced to go for one!
when did this happen? I guess it is just too wishful to think they might revive the deal sometime soon

FYI....I bought my D7000's from this eBay seller and he mentions the Microsoft cash back offer. I ended up with a 15% discount so my bottom line was $660.
The Denons were shipped quickly via FedEx with a signature required. I was very happy with this eBay purchase.
Also, anyone with a pair of D7000's or anyone thinking about getting a pair MUST try a pair of JMoney audios pads for Denon headphones. They really are great and very reasonably priced (actually cheaper than Denon replacements I believe and they're real leather).

Maybe because they got railed by Denon, Im not exactly sure. Im sorry if they don't honor your preorder, which youve had a LONG time. Are you sure?

Sorry if this has been asked/brought up before, but has the weakness at the hinges that the D2000/D5000 had been fixed with the D7000, or is durability still problematic?

I thought it was simply the nuts on the hinges work themselves loose over time, so they need to be checked and tightened regularly?

I thought it was the thinness of the pin used, that was liable to snap

Hmm, I've had the nut come loose a couple of times, but never heard of one snapping.

oh ok. They wont sell 2 to the same person probably unless you use different address and CC. Also, the hinge issue was fixed about a year ago. Same time they upgraded the D2000 stock cable to match the D5000 stock cable.
