Is the normal Andromeda also an S- or just the Andromeda S?

I'm trying to save up for Andromedas. It'll be a huge jump for me because the best I've heard are the Brainwavz B400 and iBasso IT01. Would it be worth it?

You need to listen to them, grade is a guideline. Keep an open mind to other iem. If you know what signature you like, it's easier figuring out your own S or S-

Grading that crinacle assigns to IEMs are a nice start when looking at TOTL IEMs

But your taste might differ from his.

I enjoy an IEMs he grades "A" more than another IEM that's graded "S-"

Buying an IEM purely off someone’s ranking list is a recipe for disaster. (Even if that someone has a solid tier list like Crinacle)

IEMs are far more subjective than, say, CPUs or SSDs.

I found the Andromeda just too dang big physically, don't see how people can be ok with that. Definitely wouldn't work for portable use outside of your house.

Well the Xelentos are tiny compared to most IEMs :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Andros are much nicer (size wise) than something like the Solaris, Z1R, or Wraith.

Same goes for the r1 man these things are just Too Dang boog Period. I hope the way of the future will be smaller totl iems. That's where my $$ will go, and in the meantime I'll wait. I'm sure others agree but no1 talks about it for some reason dunno, just this rookies 2 cents.

FWIW, if I were to rank the Andromedas based on two auditions I've had with one particular demo unit, I'd rank them below the MH755.

I'm not saying that the Andros are necessarily bad, its just that IEM impressions vary _a lot_.

FYI if anyone is thinking about buying a Andro based off Crinacle's list, he's contemplating dropping it from S- to A+/A. :astonished:

I agree. I found them to be 1 of the most over-rated IEM's on the market.

It’s ok, done and dusted. It was all over a campfire fanboy crying over spilt Andros. But yes, we shall move on!
