Some examples of chi-fi copying designs are as follows: zs3=InEar stagediver, zs5=campfire, trn v60=asg 2.5, trn v90=64audio universals and a lot lot more.

Exactly! And yes in terms of budget-mid fi western gears chi-fi can be a good alternative but when its TOTL gears chi-fi still has a long way to go.
idk about that. anole vx is pretty damn good

There are a lot of factors. QC, RnD, Targetted audience, Raw Materials, Design (still falls under RnD), Amount of man hours invested on a single monitor, etc.

KZ and campfire from looks alone are night and day. You may say that some KZ are made from metal but just by holding them you can clearly distinguish that the kz feels hollow and without substance. On the other hand campfire, even when you step on it it wont even budge.
Andromeda is filed with silicone, it is messy from inside

I agree. QDC Gemina or Anole, Audioquest T800 and Fearless Paladin are damn good. But except fot T800 , the other are 1k to 2,5K, not so different from western TOTL.
Ive personally tried both the gemini and the anole vx. The gemini was too neutral for my tastes but as for anole vx, my god was that thing gorgeous. Not gonna lie i had trouble going back to my zeus after it lol.

I agree campfire isnt the cleanest in terms of driver placement. 64 audio u12t are far better arranged.

Sure better arranged. But recently I sold my U12t but i will never sell my beloved Andro.
As much as i want to love andro i just couldnt... not to dissuade you or anything, I just found its tonality a bit off.

@Rocfort has an Andromeda and likes it (apparently). Why would your comment change anything? Just curious.

Is there any new iem that is considered an all-around upgrade of ve8? Considering whether I should purchase something new.
The VE8 is a bit of a timeless classic and a masterpiece - what are you finding yourself wanting more of?

Cant wait for your impressions! These has been my end game for a long time now.
Should i get zeus instead of EVR if i like mids, vocals, and great highs resolution? Im getting my EVR tomorrow but i can still return it.

edit: yes, i love flat bass.
