@BruceBanner Dude... I have used your EQ formulas for 3 years! That's awesome you chimed in here. I'm on your basshead settings with my PortaPros right now. Sincere thank you for sharing this way back when and then again now for newer folks. :punch: :anger_right: :punch:

I'm on your EQ, or a slight variation, most of the time but I do use "BBE Headphone" every now and again and almost always do when comparing two 'phones.

Haha, well... I can't take all the credit, I didn't at all come up with that combo of settings, some guy on ABI called 'MDWright2035' or some sh!t posted it first, all I did was try it, tweak it, then shout from the roof top about it, hehe. Glad its still working for you :)

Those are the two settings everyone recommends. I don't understand the "Stereo enhance 3" and "reverb off" parts though. When you go to the "stereo enhance" tab you can set the reverb from "off" to "10" but then that means the reverb is "on." So I don't see how you can set it to "3" and set the reverb to "off" at the same time. There is no "off" option in the "reverb mode" section. Did the new firmware change something? Here's a screenshot of what I'm looking at.

Everyone recommends? Hehe I'm glad my settings are gaining popularity then :D

These settings were first given by someone else that was on the Anythingbutipod forums years ago, iirc I think he went by the handle mdwrite2032 or something. So old are these settings they were used on the really early iterations of Jet Effect/BBE, think back to the original D2/D2+, S9, J3 etc. I used those settings on a i9+, so perhaps at one time these combos worked whereas now not so much? My advice is use your ears, if the settings seem to contradict and/or do nothing then leave that setting off. All I recall doing was getting the settings then doing slight tweaking to suit my IEMs and genres, and because the i9+ had 4 custom user modes would have 4 slight variations of those settings.

I can't see the available memeory of the micro sd card under "Settings" -> "Information". Am I missing something, or is the Plenue D not capable of doing this?

Can anyone give a clue?

By the way: Does the Plenue D2 also have the horrible boot time due to database update as the Plenue D has? Sleep mode drains the battery, so this is no option.

I can't see data on my uSD card either within the menu, must not be an option.
Have you updated to the latest v1.20 f/w? The boot time seems faster than previous versions and I agree concerning the Sleep Mode battery drain...can't stand it so I just turn it off. Hopefully D2 may fix those things but I still like the PD non-the-less.

What a pity not having the option. I have roughly 15.000 files on the card and the boot time is almost the same (like far too long) with v1.17 and v1.20. I reverted to v1.17 though, because I like the look better.

OMG. I just now discovered the PD has an option to play only tracks added the last day, week and month. My one major complaint about the PD was how creating playlists is difficult. I always want to listen to just the new albums I’ve recently loaded on the player. Don't know if this was in previous firmware but it's new to me and I'm thrilled!

How do I get that?

Hi everyone,

This is not a nitpick but it helps to look through the options to see what any DAP can do.
That playlist function has been there since the very beginning. :-p

@mdtolic, @Rekkxar, hope the recent playlist options work for what you both need & enhance your listening experience.

Hope you both have a great day !
