I have a Burson HA-160D and must say it's one fine amp/DAC (although i dont use the usb DAC portion,i have JKMK3 USB to SPDIF converter attached to the SPDIF in from the Burson).
This Burson drives my LCD-2 wich is a perfect match from heaven and as source i'm using my heavilly polluted USB Home theater pc with Windows 7 and JRiver media centre 16.
 
I say heavily polluted because there's tons of aparatus attached to the other USB busses,thats why i probably will be buying a Macbook pro Retina as well.
This amp is verry well build (like a tank) and is top notch craftmanship,it has a touch of warmth and it will reveal the bad recordings from the good ones.

Thanks for your input. What a shame you dont own a pair of HD650 to give me some synergy impressions But nonetheless I know the build quality is top notch.

Maybe you should check out this site with reviews of the unit,some of them have the HD650 with the Burson HA-160D.
