I guess it is. But isn't leather making (tanning) a disgusting and pretty labor intensive process?
You add that to the list of costs.

We haven't established country of manufacturer yet in fact? If it's UK id pay 100 happily.

Is the leather a special type of leather making it softer, or is it normal grade leather made in china?

At that price I expected the former.

The price includes Britain's V.A.T. tax, which is deducted for non-EU orders leaving the cost closer to 84 pounds. (It's then promptly eaten up by the shipping costs for those of us in North America.) I still ordered mine, since unlike Apple products, I don't anticipate a slew of third-party designers to come out with alternative accessories to choose from.

It's not that bad, the picture of it being held looks pretty good to me. I could see myself holding it like that... could work for when I'm outside walking. Maybe I can use a Hugo more than I thought.

I might try and get some photo's done tomorrow... when out & about I use the case upside down so I can slip my fingers through the handle & hold it securely, works a treat for me...

Will the slots on the back securely hold the ZX1 in place?

Would be good to get some shots of your ZX1 in place with that bulky sony cable incorporated some how, if at all possible.

It it all works, then I am sold on the tan one, as its hand made in the UK

I wish Hugo was also a mobile phone. That'd be awesome. Hugo Phone. Audiophile mobile phone. Think about it, possibilities are endless.

I wish Hugo was a fembot. That's be awesome. Hugo fembot. Audiophile fembot. Think about it, possibilities are endless.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Yeah, why not? It could also cook and clean. That would be worth a GBP 500 premium in my book.
