Yes, I will be a naysayer, because your proposed business case looks very weak. You reckon that apple would spend many millions, in order to develop a mscaler equivalent sound system for $500 (thats $500 retail, so maybe apple could make $100 profit per unit).
A simple break even point could then be $10,000,000 / $100 = 100,000 mscaler units to break even.
Quite a high business risk, considering that apple already know that their core phones business, can shift hundreds of millions of phones, and make billions of dollars profit each year.

Lets see Apple give us lossless music files instead of MP3 before we start dreaming of M-scalers for 500 bucks lol

I tell myself that DAVE is actually inside my Hugo 2. My brain believes me. Then, he compliments me on how smart I was saving money.

I tried to do this with Mojo and well it didn’t work out because I ended up with Hugo 2.

unfortunately i didn't tried Utopia with my Hugo 2, but I've read the synergy is amazing.

Absolutely right, Hugo 2 + Utopias (with Moon Audio cable) is truly fantastic, listening to the wonderful War On Drugs 2 November 2017 concert as I type this, low sound levels, seeing dark blue on Mr Hugo 2 for the first time. yes, synergy is amazing.

Well the manual shows on the remote a “Coax 2” input selector. However since there apparently is no Coax 2 input I still wonder what then the purpose of that button on the remote is.

Anyway I love the Hugo 2 so will not let that bother me and listen to music and smile to the lovely sound I get instead

In fact, there is a coax2 input. If you have a Y splitter, you can run two diferent sources and switch them with the remote.

Can someone recommend an RCA cable? All the ones I have do not fit the H2 because the connectors are too large for the little amount of space around the jacks. Thanks!

The two I've used with great success are the Moon Audio Silver Dragon and similarly priced Van Den Hul The Orchid. The VDH sometimes shows up on Audiogon much lower second-hand. The Moon Audio is easier to get in custom lengths.
