As a matter if interest, when was that?
I tried a factory reset and Maximize Compatibility is enabled. The thing connects to a connection "Not Connected" even shows full 3 bars. My home network connects fine but away from home it goes to that stupid "Not Connected" network and lies and says connected. from Chord:Can you do a factory reset? I don't have this problem is its just a guess to move forward.
Hot spot gives the most issues yes, hotspot works fine, tried with android and iphone’s, but mainly well for sdcard playback and maximumMDP for example.Luck of the draw me thinks. Mine works perfectly on a TP-Link mesh and I don't need the hotspot functionality that appears the main cause of grief?
With wifi, mconnect, roon, maximumMDP work fine, even over mesh, as long as it is 2.4 (not mixed) I use a seperate 2.4 and 5 sidd.
With the m9plus I had a mesh of 5 units, it was giving constant problems. Something in the auto switching was driving the poly nutsFunny. I'm using both bands on the same SSID.
Like I said, poly is device that makes the poly sound amazing. They just should build a poly2 ther fixes everything, has wifi 5/6 support at least, better bluetooth like ldac, aptx hd/LL, software from chord itself to connect and browse directly to the polyAnd here we go again. It all seems so random as to whether a Poly will connect or not. I run a TP-Link Deco mesh with both 2.4 and 5 running on the same SSID and it's fine. No problem with either Roon or MPD, connecting with something like Rigelian. Similarly, I don't have a problem connecting with either Poly's hotspot or an iPhone 12. Am I just lucky or is there a problem/setting that's causing hassle for others? I'm on the latest update but I didn't have a problem with previous ones so I don't think it's that.
I’m also running Deco mesh and not having any issues. I turned off beam-forming, where I seemed to get a few dropouts. And here we go again. what version of the firmware is poly running?Just re-purchased a new Poly but it doesn't seem to come up for Bluetooth scanning anywhere - neither on GoFigure nor on Bluetooth generally. Is it kaput? I've tried to factory reset. I have no issues with 2Go, which works perfectly with Hugo 2 on the same network.
I would assume the latest, because this batch just came direct from Chord. I cannot see a FW number on the box before, though. Here's the package:what version of the firmware is poly running?
