I tried support again and now they are just saying contact who sold it to me. I am getting frusterated since $600 is not pocket change. Mine keeps draining the battery in a day and it is going to die at this rate. I REALLY like my Mojo and don't want to add Chord to my list of companies I cannot support. Sadly the list has grown a lot in the last few years. Good customer support, even for luxury goods (which an amp is), is a dying art. I am pretty convinced it is software doing this which needs to be fixed.

The FW upgrade will not increase the life of your battery. The Poly will drain over the course of the day regardless if you use it or not.

Did you buy it from a HeadFi seller or from an authorized retailer?

How are you charging your Poly?
Is it with Poly and Mojo connected together?

Also does "Mine keeps draining the battery in a day" mean that after using MojoPoly for several hours during a day, the Poly battery is fully discharged?

I'm using Poly hotspot mode when travelling, which works well. However, when my phone is connected to Poly hotspot, I can no longer access the internet or mobile data. Is there a way around this?

Voila!

Poly hybrid mode:

Set Poly in hotspot mode. Press on "i" in iphone network page; turn auto login off
In network settings page, make note of iphone IP address and subnet mask and change them in configure IP settings from automatic to manual; don't enter anything in router
Enter IP address and subnet mask in manual setting

TO USE 4G: let Poly display "no internet connection" (4G can be used at the same time)

Thanks, interesting. I should have said I'm on a Sony Android phone, but I assume the logic is the same?

I used my phone as hotspot and could access to the internet. I have to remember how i´ve done it. Will check it this evening.
Somebode posted a workaround here.

Yup, this works for sure. But Poly hotspot would seem more stable when travelling, I suspect.

Good point, not sure about Android

I know this isn’t a fix but my poly stopped draining its battery daily by upgrading to mojo 2, my poly now lasts for a good while now even though I might not be using it, before poly would be dead in 24 hours even if I never used it. I asked rob and he said that in mojo 2 they upgraded something to do with power and that could be the reason my poly doesn’t die in a day.

Is it good practice to seperate the Poly and Mojo2 when not in use (a few days, not out and about)?

Did anyone managed to update Poly to the lastest firmware 3.2.4? I've been trying for months and it never updates the firmware.
I managed to do it in time before the server problems started, however the update did not bring any tangible changes or improvements, my Poly worked perfectly before the update and it works perfectly after updating it.

I advise not to worry too much, if your Poly works well, updating it to version 3.2.4 will not make it work better.

It's working flawlessly, no problems for now. I already contacted Chord support and they're having server problems. The only solution is to wait. Or Chord to release the Hugo 3.

I almost never separate them. I use Mojo2/Poly daily for about an hour and charge as needed (about once per week). They each last about 8 hours total, so well matched for playing and charging. I figure it’s better not to put additional daily wear on the connections.

I use it with Airplay, and I mean it dies on its own while just sitting there. The poly itself was used, but it is only a couple of years old. Maybe I misunderstand the design intent by Chord, but a device fully cherged and sitting there should not die that fast. It gives me about a solid 7 hours of use if I play through it.

I have tried charging it and leaving it with and without my Mojo 2 and it still drains itself.

Possibly, but I don’t do it so I don’t really know, all I do know is that my poly more or less changed overnight power wise once I got a mojo 2. I think with the original mojo it was draining polys battery even when turned off, but my poly is totally different now. Ok I’m not saying the battery doesn’t run out if not used, it does but it takes MUCH longer before it does.
