Has anyone noticed dropouts since upgrading to the Mojo2 from the 1 while using poly in roon ready mode? It could just be a coincidence but I recall having many dropouts before this.
I had quite a few dropouts with Mojo 2 and Poly when I tried the pair for a few days. No issues with Hugo 2 and 2GoHas anyone noticed dropouts since upgrading to the Mojo2 from the 1 while using poly in roon ready mode? It could just be a coincidence but I recall having many dropouts before this.

That could depend on what Wi-Fi system you're using. I had lots of drop outs with my previous Orbi mesh system. My current Asus mesh system has completely eliminated drop outs with either the Mojo OG or Mojo 2.Has anyone noticed dropouts since upgrading to the Mojo2 from the 1 while using poly in roon ready mode? Another possibility is the Poly needs a factory reset.

I’m moving on to a new music app to use with my Mojo2/Poly and am trying to configure MPDluxe. I entered my host name and port as described in post 9,076. When I do that in my situation, MPDluxe just spins.
Is there anything else I need to do to make this app work for me?
Thanks!

@captblaze - I added the dot after local but got the same results. @ZappaMan - one thing I’ve always struggled with is identifying the IP address. So I search “IP address” in this thread and landed on post 9,733. Upon reviewing that and the following replies, I see that we have been here before (you’re reply is on post 9,745). Perhaps that is why this all sounds familiar, but yet without success then and now...

Do you have an assigned IP address to the Poly, or is allowed to pull a random IP every boot? I have mine set to a static IP and no problems with the config in the picture@captblaze - I added the dot after local but got the same results.

Maybe try “poly.local” instead of ChordPlayer? That’s how mine is named.I’m moving on to a new music app to use with my Mojo2/Poly and am trying to configure MPDluxe. I entered my host name and port as described in post 9,076. When I do that in my situation, MPDluxe just spins.

You could use an app such as Net Analyzer to see what Poly's hostname is. If hostnames are not resolved, then perhaps there is something wrong with DNS configuration on your iDevice or router.I’m moving on to a new music app to use with my Mojo2/Poly and am trying to configure MPDluxe. Has anyone had luck with removing special characters from your wifi password? Mine has a "-" and a "." in it and I'm wondering if that's the cause of my poly dropouts. Changing it will be a hassle so I'm checking here first.
Also I have factory reset the poly already.

am I off base or is a Mojo/Poly combo a portable music solution over Bluetooth with a phone? it costs as much as a mid-fi DAP on its own and I'm considering my options

It's more flexible than that. The mojo is a great dac amp on its own. And the poly ideally works as a roon ready endpoint in your home if you're into that. But yeah the combo can also be used via BT connection on the go.

sounds great if it's got coverage like that - not about to drop €600 on something not fit for purpose but it could be an alternative as I've had mixed experiences with the higher-spec Android DAPs!
