I should have mentioned I already do Spotify with my mojo over DLNA and Airplay using HiFy (an andi app). Seems to work well no drop outs just works. In Spotify you then select your device. It shows up all the other DLNA, UPNP and airplay devices the house too.

First post. After reading approx 800+ pages, I rewarded myself with a poly.
Was wondering what the best option is to transfer files from iTunes to the poly microSd.
Tried Dapper, but always crashes. Are there any other recomendations to transfer files whilst also creating the playlists for the GoFigure quickplay?

Sorry to read that. Never had any problems with Dapper, has always worked great (and fast). Hopefully the developer will answer in the other thread.

I had relative success by using JRiver for quick playlist creation. In the end all that is left to do is to quick change all slashes \ to / in Notepad and you are done.

Will the coming firmware update includes chromecast feature & also Spotify connect?

I believe @Matt Bartlett mentioned in a previous post the Chromecast support would not be provided in the upcoming firmware update. I'm quite disappointed as this feature was promised before Polys release. Hopefully this feature will be available soon as the ability to cast Tidal offline in Android will make the Poly even more awesome.

Since its not out yet and not coming in this next release, I think the likelihood of it showing up any time soon is going to be slim to none. Chord has promised many things coming soon, and nothing with the poly has ever been quick or soon, so for something that they arent even promising yet, I can only imagine if or when it might actually show up.

And that seems to be the only piece of info I have been able to find about this next firmware (that seems to have been coming soon since at least december). Does anyone have any actual info about what its supposed to include? Was there a post somewhere in this thread with that info?

I haven't seen a definitive post re what's included. Matt's post re Chromecast was in response to a direct question. He also mentioned that proper Roon certification would be included so I'm hoping that means the disconnect errors when opening the phone Roon remote when playing through Poly have been addressed. Other than that I haven't seen a full what's included list.

Ahh yes, roon certification. I do remember seeing that too. I suppose that is a big deal for roon users, just unfortunately not something I use.

Would definitely like to see what else is going to be included and a more concrete idea of when we might expect it.

Not sure what OS you’re on but on my mac I grab the iTunes purchased files (local non purchased files are DRM encoded and won’t play outside iTunes) from my iTunes music folder and drag them onto the SD card Which is inserted with a reader on my Mac.

After reinserting the SD card the Poly I use Cantate app (Mac OS based MPD player) to read the Poly’s card’s content and create a playlist which is written on the SD card.

With the GoFigure app on iPhone I can access the playlist and play it using the Quickplay function.

My poly is in airplane / Bluetooth mode, GoFigure connects to the Poly via Bluetooth Low Energy.
Music files (FLAC and DSD and some iTunes purchased files in my case) on SD card are playing via MPD protocol.

Oh well, i know i said that i don't wanna post here again... But now I really need some advice.

Does anyone is familiar with that situation, as seen in that pictures below, and know a solution?

I've charged up Mojo-Poly with a standard 5v 2A charger... Then barely a few minutes after charging I noticed that the poly-charging light on the poly is still on and glowing white. Now one complete day has passed, unchanged. I can´t use mojo-poly anymore, nothing is working.

Only Chord Mojo is working with my hidizs ap60 dap as a transport as usual. Man, that is bad.

I don't think there is a solution. You just wait until the battery in Poly is fully discharged. Then you charge it.
Very annoying issue. Happened to me twice so far. Wish I could use the pin in this case.

After trying a Sony Signature Walkman NW-WM1A DAP yesterday I can see why Chord chose to avoid making a screen or a proprietary UI. It was really painful to use the Walkman with its inferior screen, the lack of search in music, and the laggy UI. It's so much better to use an elegant app on my fast phone with its beautiful screen, which I use anyway, while MojoPoly comfortably sits in my pocket/bag or on the desk.

There is another solution. Just not an easy one. Open it up and snap the battery connector off and back on. Poly will reboot to its normal state. Happened to me twice so far. Issue free for 10 months now though.

This can happen if Poly connects to a wireless access point but can't get an IP address, for example if there is no DHCP server running on the network. If this is the case, enable the DHCP server and Poly will get the IP address and function if Mojo is on or switch off if Mojo is off. If this is not the case, you will have to wait till Poly runs down.
